I-800P Series Pneumatic Isolators

IRVINE, Calif., July 19, 2012 — Newport Corp. has developed a series of pneumatic vibration isolators for platform loads up to 3200 lb. The I-800P series isolators are based on a proprietary Stabilizer hybrid-chamber design to deliver good vertical and horizontal isolation. The patented self-centering design makes the isolators easy to integrate into OEM machinery and other process equipment.
The wide selection of isolators offers accurate re-leveling and repositioning. A variety of valves and damping mechanisms also may be selected to optimize the vibration isolation characteristics and further tune the system to meet specific machine requirements. The isolators can be fitted onto 8-in.-sq leg weldments or can be manufactured on stand-alone legs.
Custom damping designs can be tuned for specific isolation and moving-load requirements.
Standard vertical re-leveling capability is ±0.25 mm, and custom designs with re-leveling accuracy of 0.05 mm are available. Horizontal travel is 3 mm, with a repositioning accuracy of 0.08 mm.
