TIGARD, Ore., Nov. 26, 2012 — Sensoray has introduced the Model 911 PCI/104-Express four-channel frame grabber with audio capture. It simultaneously captures four channels of analog video and four of stereo audio. It captures raw video frames from each channel at up to full frame rate, resulting in an aggregate frame rate of up to 120 fps for NTSC and 100 fps for PAL. The high frame capture rate, through two x1 links of PCIe bus interface, makes it suited for applications that require capture of multiple video sources in a compact form factor, such as remote video surveillance and traffic monitoring. A 24-pin header provides access to all input/output signals on the board. The board’s PCI/104-Express connectors support stack up and stack down, and its conformance to the PCI/104-Express specification guarantees that it won’t mechanically interfere with adjacent boards. The unit supports D1, VGA, QVGA, SIF, 4SIF, CIF, QCIF and 4CIF video capture resolutions. Captured frames are formatted as raw RGB or YUV. Four general-purpose digital input/output signals are provided for controlling cameras and illumination sources, and for alarm signal monitoring. They can be configured to function as all outputs or all inputs. The software development kit includes drivers, programming examples and documentation for Windows and Linux operating systems.
