JENA, Germany, Feb.11, 2013 — For measuring tasks in analysis, colorimetry and LED light, MAZeT GmbH Services is introducing JENCOLOR products, including the MTCSiCF color sensor for photometry and colorimetry, the MCDC04 sensor signal amplifier with an I2C interface and the MTCS-INT-AB3 sensor board for light applications. The color sensors in conjunction with the signal ICs are suited for colorimetry tasks in industry, medicine and cosmetics, and analytics.

The MTCSiCF has XYZ filters for eye-precise, absolute colorimetry. The sensor measures the color of materials, liquids or light in accordance with CIE1931/DIN5033.

The MCDC04 signal conditioner is specifically coordinated to the requirements of the tristimulus JENCOLOR color sensors. The combination of the MTCSiCF color sensor with the MCDC04 is suited for photometry and light control applications.

The MTCS-INT-AB3 evaluation kit is for tasks in LED light control.

The science of the measurement of light intensity, where "light'' refers to the total integrated range of radiation to which the eye is sensitive. It is distinguished from radiometry in which each separate wavelength in the electromagnetic spectrum is detected and measured, including the ultraviolet and infrared.
