PETERSFIELD, England, Feb. 19, 2013 — Multipix Imaging is offering the 3D PRO Laser and 3D PRO Laser Mini designed by ProPhotonix for machine vision applications.

The structured laser light modules are designed with a compact cylindrical form factor for seamless integration into existing systems.

They are available in two footprints. The 3D PRO Laser has a 19-mm diameter compatible with the majority of existing machine vision systems and enabling hassle-free replacement of existing systems. The 3D PRO Laser Mini measures 10 mm in diameter for applications where space is at a premium.

Both are available either as customer-specified fixed-focus modules or with an externally adjustable focus for users who desire flexibility. They offer good uniformity with linewidths from 30 to 120 µm and have output powers from 1 to 150 mW, fan angles between 10° and 90°, and wavelengths throughout the 450- to 910-nm spectral ranges, including 635 and 660 nm.

Electronic options include intensity control, strobe mode and various analog and digital modulation configurations.
