High-speed amplifiers from Femto Messtechnik GmbH are designed for time-resolved measurements with ultrafast photodetectors. An integrated BIAS coil makes the amplifiers suitable for photomultipliers and avalanche and PIN photodiodes. The HSA-X and HSA-Y series feature a bandwidth up to 2 GHz, gain up to 60 dB and noise of 1.9 dB. The HSA-Y device has a DC monitor for detector control and alignment, and a second equivalent signal output for triggering or signal control without an external signal splitter.
