Stocker & Yale Inc. has introduced the Model 13 Plus Steady Lite illuminator, designed to provide maximum output for more than 7000 h. The system includes an electrostatic discharge-safe housing and has variable intensity control using an 85-kHz driver with a flicker-free dimming range from 10 to 100 percent. The circular fluorescent lamp provides 360° of uniform, shadowless light, and is available in yellow, black light blue, and a variety of white color temperatures. The Model 13 Plus is suitable for electronics assembly and machine vision applications, and medical, laboratory and semiconductor microscopy.
