HARPENDEN, England, May 1, 2013 — Craic Technologies Inc.’s 20/30 PV microspectrophotometer series provides nondestructive rapid analysis of submicron or larger samples from the deep-UV to the near-IR. The instruments are being distributed by Elliot Scientific Ltd. While microspectra are being acquired, the sample may be simultaneously viewed in the deep-UV and near-IR with the high-resolution digital imaging system or in the visible through the research-grade eyepiece optics. Images and time-resolved spectral data are acquired and recorded in one rapid, seamless operation. Applications include thin-film metrology, MEMS devices, forensic and mineral analysis, photovoltaic cell characterization, surface plasmon resonance, photonic bandgap crystals, process impurity detection, protein crystal measurement, combinatorial chemistry and kinetic spectroscopy.
