10HVA-20HVA Series Amplifiers

RONKONKOMA, N.Y., June 6, 2013 — UltraVolt Inc.’s new 10HVA-20HVA series of high-voltage amplifiers expands upon the company’s HVA series, capable of operating in DC, reversible and amplifier modes.

The amplifiers are available with unipolar or bipolar output at 0 to 10, 15 and 20 kV. They deliver a high-resolution, high-voltage DC to full-scale waveform capability >500-Hz output depending on loading. The series can source and sink current linearly through 0 V with low ripple and noise over the entire output range.

The amplifiers provide improved line and load regulation and a slew rate of 40 V/µs. They perform with a standard 25-ppm or optional 15-ppm temperature coefficient, while the -F Ripple Stripper output filter option further reduces output ripple and noise. A differential precision, 0 to 10 VDC (volts of direct current) control input, and precision voltage and current monitors come standard.

The modules feature constant voltage/constant current auto crossover (CV/CC). The series is also optimized for ion beam and electron beam devices such as mass spectrometry and electron microscopes as well as beam electrostatic deflection/focusing, electrospinning and corona charging/discharging.
