The Matrox Orion is a frame grabber from Matrox Imaging that supports standard color/monochrome video capture and integrates a display section based on the MGA G400 graphics controller from Matrox Graphics Inc. It can capture composite, S-Video, RGB NTSC/PAL and composite RS-170/CCIR video formats with eight video inputs. The Matrox Orion supports a second display output that is independent of the primary VGA display resolution, making it suitable for applications that require high-resolution display while recording video using a VCR.
