Oriel Instruments, a Newport Corp. company, introduces the 8035 Fourier Transform-Infrared scanner for imaging and spectroscopy applications.
The device features a 1.5-inch beam for higher throughput and sensitivity, and covers a spectral range from 0.7 to 28 µm. It also features interchangeable beam splitters and detectors, and provides high resolution up to 0.5 cm-1.
Its new compact enclosure has a 25 percent smaller footprint and offers better heat management than the previous model, as well as an easier beam splitter adjustment and new solid laser mount.
