LOEBAU, Germany, May 22, 2014 — The LAS 260 filtering system from ULT AG extracts and filters harmful particles for small lasers, laser marking and ultra-short pulse laser processing.

Automated and semi-automated production processes can be safely used as stand-alone or inline while guaranteeing increased stand life.

The filter’s large storage capacity provides less downtime with reduced maintenance and operating costs. An F9 particle filter cassette is used as an extensive prefilter, while a combinational filter cassette H14/A10 is used as a particle and adsorption filter. A filtration efficiency of 99,995 percent is seen for fine dust, suspended solids, gases, vapors and odors.
