BELFAST, North Ireland, June 30, 2014 — The Revolution DSD2 module from Andor Technology Ltd. is a compact, laser-free confocal module that can be fitted to most fluorescence microscopes.

The device is an alternative to laser scanning confocals for routine confocal imaging. It uses a broadband white light source to image any fluor by a selection of filters and is capable of imaging live cells and embryo specimens.

With three settings, it can be used across the full magnification range, making it suited for developmental biology, neuroscience, embryology and plant biology.
