BARRINGTON, N.J., Aug. 15, 2014 — The Slow Axis Collimator from Edmund Optics features a monolithic array of cylindrical lenses, designed to collimate the individual emitters of a laser bar. It has a numerical aperture of 0.05, surface accuracy of λ/4 and low curvature deviation for increased collimation. The device features a standard antireflective coating for 790 to 990 nm and provides greater than 99 percent transmission with minimal loss of light. The device can be used with Fast Axis Collimators to create custom combinations. The Slow Axis Collimator is also available in 50, 100 and 150 µm sizes.
