Offering a packaged solution for 2000-nm laser frequency up-conversion, a new waveguide from Srico is for use in fiber-based frequency combs and spectroscopy.
The periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide has input and output fibers and a thermoelectric cooler for temperature stabilization.
The waveguide is designed to accept a broadband laser wavelength in the 2000-nm region and output a frequency-doubled signal centered at 1064nm, providing a reference wavelength with very narrow linewidth.
