With LED curing lamps and easy-to-exchange molds, the FSR-05, FSR-06 and FSR-07 can coat fiber sizes from 155 to 900 µm. The FSR-06 and FSR-07 are equipped with linear and mandrel tensioning systems, providing proof testing up to 2 and 10 kgf, respectively. The FSR-05 (pictured) does not have a proof tester, making it suitable for manufacturers that do not require constant proof testing after each recoat. The recoaters may be used in fiber and fiber...See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics Spectra February 2023 IssuePolarity DetectorThe RD-P Remote-head Polarity Detector from JGR Optics Inc. integrates with the IL/RL measurement system to reduce testing time and cost of multifiber optical cable assemblies.
