New multi-chip 5W 1470nm fiber-coupled laser diode from PhotonTec Berlin. This module uses a single 105µm, 0.22NA optical fiber with optional SMA connector, providing high power and high brightness. Higher power of 10W from a 105µm fiber can also be designed.
The diode module comes with hermetically sealed 2-pins package measuring 43mm by 25mm. Optional thermistor and photodiode are available with a 6-pins package. The diode and package were rigorously tested and validated to ensure long lifetime and long term reliability. They are an ideal solutions for applications requiring high power and high brightness from a small form factor diode laser.
