VICTOR, N.Y., April 29, 2015 — Toptical Photonics FemtoFiber Pro SCYbThe FemtoFiber Pro SCYb all-fiber high-power laser system from Toptica Photonics Inc. provides laser pulses with a center wavelength of 1030 nm and duration <100 fs.

The device is based on a stable saturable absorber mirror (SAM) mode-locked erbium-doped oscillator operating at 1560 nm. The oscillator output is frequency-shifted toward 1030 nm using a nonlinear fiber.

The turnkey system delivers average output power of 700 mW, making it suitable for applications in nonlinear microscopy or terahertz generation.
