Request InfoTeledyne DALSA, Machine Vision OEM ComponentsWATERLOO, Ontario, Canada, June 25, 2015 — Teledyne Dalsa Inc. has announced TurboDrive data-encoding technology, allowing select GigE Vision cameras to achieve high speeds, increasing throughput by as much as 150 percent and retaining 100 percent of image data. TurboDrive enables cameras to transmit complete image information at a rate exceeding the constraints of Gigabit Ethernet. The technology uses image-entropy-based encoding to model pixel information without information loss. Faster data transmission on the link is enabled, as each pixel is comprised of fewer bits for encoding.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSVision-Spectra.com January 2024 IssueSmall 10GigE CamerasThe Genie™ Nano-10GigE M8200 and C8200 series from Teledyne DALSA are 10 GigE cameras based on Teledyne e2v’s 67M monochrome and color sensors.
