Toshiba Imaging’s new IK-4K (3840 x 2160) UltraHD 4K camera delivers world-class 59.94Hz performance from the smallest package available at only 1.28” x 1.51” x 1.61”. Extremely lightweight (approx. 2.5 oz.), the 3-CMOS UltraHD video camera provides up to 1600 TV lines of resolution at real-time 59.94/50Hz (60 frames per second). It is ideal for live-event broadcast applications, scientific and live-tissue imaging, military/defense imaging, and process and quality-control tasks. UltraHD offers the highest possible resolution at 60 fps, which is extremely useful in microscopy tasks, especially at lower magnification settings 10X and below. The IK-4K camera’s UltraHD format, with increased resolution and remarkably sharp details, provides many advantages in other critical scientific and industrial imaging applications where extremely high resolution is imperative. These include inspection, analysis of tissue samples, and in re-work activities such as repairing circuit boards, or soldering tasks, especially when handling very small pieces or components.
Other IK-4K UltraHD Camera features include:
• Two-piece, remote-head camera system design
• Toshiba Imaging’s proprietary prism block technology
• Advanced image processing capabilities
• Unmatched color accuracy
• Exceptional resolution with fine edge details
• Five, user-programmable scene files
• Comprehensive settings menu with 12 color matrix adjustment for optimal color
• 4x 3G-SDI, 59.94Hz, UltraHD output
• Remote control via RS 232
• Standard C-mount lens mount
The camera head can be located from 3 to 15m (10 to 50ft) from the camera control module, supporting a wide range of camera mounting options. The extraordinary camera also features switchable formats from UltraHD 4K at 50/59.94 Hz, to 1080p and 1080i.
