KELHEIM, Germany, Sept. 1, 2015 — Designed for fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy in the frequency domain, a camera system from PCO AG features a novel charge-swing sensor. The pco.flim offers 1008 × 1008 resolution. With two bins per pixel, the camera can be switched at up to 40 MHz, allowing light information to be sampled over time. The camera may be synchronized with the modulation of excitation light, allowing detection of delays <100 ps between excitation light and fluorescence. The camera is suitable for biomedical research applications including cell research and molecular medicine.
