MUNICH, Oct. 2, 2015 — Advantest Corp. has announced the Hadatomo photoacoustic microscope to enable noninvasive imaging of blood vessels in the dermis to a depth of 3 mm. The device offers researchers a noninvasive process, with an ability to easily reference and compare historical results. Independently developed sensors and electrical circuits permit high-speed measurement without exceeding maximum guidelines for maximum light-source exposure to skin. A measurement area of 4 × 4 × 3 mm and a maximum speed of 20 seconds per scan is featured. Proprietary algorithms process data through dedicated software and constructs 2D and 3D images in quasi-real time.
