A decade of experience in quantum efficiency measurement technology has been packaged with the optical design, spectroscopy, precision motion control, and electronics expertise of Newport Corporation to produce an instrument that is unmatched in quality and ease of use.

The IQE 200B incorporates patented detector geometry, allowing for simultaneous measurement of EQE and the reflective losses to quantify IQE. Achromatic optics allow for complete wavelength scans while maintaining a constant spot size. Unique to this model is an integrated vacuum chuck with a thermistor. All controls are integrated and software driven, eliminating external controllers and further simplifying the instrument. The system is turn-key and includes all necessary components to perform sample qualification upon delivery.

The acquisition and controls software for the IQE 200B is pre-installed on a laptop computer which is included with the measurement system. The software uses an intuitive, icon-based graphical interface to provide instrument calibration, controls, configuration, and data acquisition. All of the system components are seamlessly controlled by the software. EQE and IQE curves are calculated and plotted in a single scan without the need to reposition the detectors or sample, optimizing measurement accuracy and repeatability.
