BERLIN, Nov. 9, 2015 — PicoQuant GmbH has announced the latest version of its EasyTau system software for the FluoTime 300 fluorescence lifetime spectrometer.
The software integrates the Solea or SoleaR supercontinuum laser into the excitation measurement wizards. A broad wavelength range, variable repetition rates and tunable light intensity make the lasers a flexible alternative to xenon lamps for recording excitation spectra.
Polarizer position is recognized automatically, making it possible to move in or out of the beam path without having to restart the software. The scripting language has been extended to include better code highlighting, autocompletion and functions for adding reference curves or instrument response functions to the spectra list.
Every available applications wizard creates a ready-to-use script containing all system and measurement settings used in the experiment, making it easy to repeat with similar samples.
