Necsel NovaLum RGB LaserThe NovaLum RGB offers 250 and 700 lumen brightness levels and combines red, green and blue lasers into a 400 micron fiber-coupling. Each laser can be individually modulated and mixed to generate white light or the full color spectrum. Combined with the Necsel Intelligent Controller, this laser gives temperature feedback, modulates at high speed, and is easily integrated into any OEM system.

The NovaLum products can be combined with the NovaLum Developer’s Kit to create a complete system that includes a multi-wavelength driver, connection cables, power supply, USB interface, Windows software, and manual. This kit allows customers to get started with the Necsel RGB laser right away!

modulation
In general, changes in one oscillation signal caused by another, such as amplitude or frequency modulation in radio which can be done mechanically or intrinsically with another signal. In optics the term generally is used as a synonym for contrast, particularly when applied to a series of parallel lines and spaces imaged by a lens, and is quantified by the equation: Modulation = (Imax – Imin)/ (Imax + Imin) where Imax and Imin are the maximum and minimum intensity levels of the image.
