The UI-359xLE USB3 board-level camera from IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH uses Aptina's 18-MP AR1820HS sensor, ensuring detailed images for high-resolution visualization applications, such as microscopy, barcode reading, optical character recognition and medical engineering.
Measuring 36 × 36 mm, the board makes the camera applicable for small-apparatus engineers, benefiting from numerous connection options, including an eight-pin connector with 5-V power supply, trigger and flash, two general purpose input/output, and an inter-integrated circuit (I2C) bus to control peripherals.
The ½-in. backside-illuminated CMOS sensor delivers images in full HD, 4K cinema and 18-MP resolution formats. A housed version of the camera is also available. The included IDS software can be used across multiple interfaces.
