Request InfoOFSOFS Fitel LLC has announced the MiDia 2GX cable, increasing fiber density and enhancing performance for metro networks. The microcable enables tight, low-loss bends without risking fiber strength or long-term reliability. They occupy 36 percent less area than conventional 250-µm coated fibers, enabling smaller diameter cables with a greater number of fibers per tube to minimize cabled diameters in congested duct networks. The MiDia 2GX microcable is designed for seamless installation into existing microduct networks.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaPRODUCTSPhotonics.com 2/19/2024Dual Band Optical FiberThe LaserWave® Dual-Band OM4+ Multimode Optical Fiber from OFS is fiber optimized for bidirectional applications.
