dSINGLEThe S6428-01, S6429-01 and S6430-01 silicon photodiodes from Hamamatsu Corp. feature a typical high-speed response of 0.5 µs. The monochromatic color sensors have a low dark current of 5 pA and low terminal capacitance of 200 pF. The photosensitivity of the S6428-01 blue sensor is typically 0.22 A/W with a spectral response range of 400 to 540 nm. The green S6429-01 covers the 480- to 600-nm range and has a typical photosensitivity of 0.27 A/W. The S6430-01 red sensor has a 0.45-A/W photosensitivity and 590- to 720-nm spectral response range. The photodiodes are suitable for color-recognition applications and for use in color copiers, optical switches and bar-code readers, and as sensors for red laser diodes or LEDs
