Fiber Optic Center Inc. has announced a line of fiber blowing solutions to address challenges in existing infrastructure and in the ground.

The Miniflow Rapid is compact and capable of installing fiber cable at speeds of up to 100 m/min. and up to a distance of 3.5 km. With stainless steel and anodized aluminum construction for rugged conditions, the device continuously monitors the pushing force applied on the fiber cable to make stopping the drive wheels possible before the cable is damaged.

The Multiflow is designed for the blowing of multiple combinations of duct and microducts, making it possible to install microducts and fiber cables using either air or water.

The Microflow has a unique protection technology that stop the machine if the fiber cable meets an obstacle. It will also stop automatically is the motor exceeds the preset maximum torque level. After the protection technology has stopped the machine, it will automatically start up again. If the system has not succeeded after three tries, it will come to a full stop.

The Powerflow can blow cables with a speed of up to 80 m/min. with distances up to 10 km, installing fiber optic cables using either air or water.
