Two fibers, 780-OCT and 1060-OCT are specifically designed for 780nm and 1060nm operation in today’s OCT systems. Both fibers have been optimized for 260nm (±130nm) of functional wavelength range, expanding the operating range of OCT applications. In addition, the relevant dispersion is specified and reported on every spool of 780-OCT and 1060-OCT shipped. The 1060-OCT fiber offers the tightest dispersion specification in the industry which ensures improved image sharpness in OCT applications. This fiber is optimized for the next generation high resolution dual wavelength OCT applications. The 780-OCT fiber offers excellent performance and its repeatability and reproducibility will deliver consistent imaging results.
Included in the NuVIEW fiber family are a suite of select cutoff SM and PM fibers that cover the 350 to 850 nm wavelength range ideally suited for spectroscopy. Nufern’s PM-S405-XP fiber covers the widest RGB wavelength range offering low attenuation necessary for many medical spectroscopic applications.
