AUBURN, Mass., May 10, 2016 — PI (Physik Instrumente) LP offers the H-900KSCO hexapod with designed dynamic motion in XYZ, pitch roll, and yaw. Six-axis parallel kinematic motion is designed to meet demanding motion control applications such as motion simulation, industrial production, precision machining, automotive industry, and stabilization of motion on moving vehicles and vessels.
The compact hexapod provides linear travel ranges up to 200 mm and rotation to 66°. It is driven by brushless servomotors and has a 130-lb load capacity. Linear speeds up to 80 mm/s and angular speed of 30°/s are featured. Parallel kinematics design eliminates the need for moving cables and results in a stiff and compact positioning system, compared to conventional multiaxis designs.
