BOULDER, Colo., June 2, 2016 — Symbolic Light 3D CameraChiaro Technologies offers Cloudburst, a Symbolic Light 3D camera for the production of real-time streaming depth images and point clouds.

The camera integrates into OEM and industrial applications like a machine vision camera to enable full-frame sub-mm depth measurements as depth maps or point clouds at up 30 fps. Operating in full darkness to indirect sunlight, the camera offers a 50° or 90° horizontal field of view and with over 40,000 independent depth points per frame

Applications include logistics, such as box filling and palletizing; robotics, such as object identification and pick and place; automation; hand-held 3D scanning; gesture recognition; and automotive driver interface and safety.
