SWIR Sensors and SystemsSierra-Olympic Technologies Inc. distributes New Imaging Technologies’ wide-dynamic-range (WDR), indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) shortwave-infrared (SWIR) sensors and camera systems.

The SWIR imaging product family delivers a dynamic range >140 dB in a single snapshot, without any processing or tone mapping. The new InGaAs photodiode array features a patented readout integrated circuit. Available in 640 × 512 pixel resolution with 15-μm pitch or 320 × 256 pixel resolution with 25-μm pitch, both operate in the SWIR spectrum from 900 to 1700 nm with high quantum efficiency. Power consumption is <1.5 W.

Ideal for biomedical, laser measurement, welding, semiconductor, art inspection and process control fields, the WDR sensors’ internal fixed pattern noise correction offers high uniformity images under all lighting conditions. It is also functional for fast, triggered imaging applications such as range-gated imaging and synchronous illuminated imaging.
