IRVINE, Calif., July 29, 2016 — Newport Corp. has announced a matched pair of 1-in.-diameter ultrafast FemtoOptics chirped mirrors, designed for convenient dispersion compensation of 10 fs and shorter laser pulses. The high reflectivity of the mirrors supports high throughput, while the proprietary coating design accurately controls higher order dispersion. The matched pair of mirrors has been designed to reflect over 95 percent from 700 to 890 nm.
