TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 29, 2016 — StellarNet Inc. has announced the StellarCASE-Raman case system for material identification and composition analysis using Raman spectroscopy in any environment. The system includes interior mounting of spectrometer instrumentation pre-configured for open and measure applications with no additional setup required. The StellarCASE-Raman system has balanced signal versus fluorescence by using a 785-nm laser. A 1064-nm Raman spectroscopy option is also available. A versatile sample holder attached to the laser allows for rapid identification of solids, liquid and powdered samples. All components are combined in a durable, waterproof case. Applications include forensics, anti-counterfeiting, food and beverage, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical identification, raw material identification, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy-trace substance detection and more.
