LEUVEN, Belgium, Oct. 17, 2016 — The Serval-640-GigE Thermography LWIR camera from Xenics is a ruggedized, uncooled LWIR device designed for thermography and thermal imaging in harsh industrial environments. The Serval-640-GigE Thermography is equipped with an uncooled microbolometer detector with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels. It has a pixel pitch of 17 µm and a thermal sensitivity of 55 mK. Radiometric calibrations allow the user to measure temperatures. Four standard temperature ranges of −20 to 120 °C, 50 to 400 °C, 300 to 1200 °C and 1000 to 2000 °C are offered. The camera is dust tight and able to withstand immersion in water up to a depth of 1 m.
