Canon released a new model Laser Doppler Velocimeter, PV-01. Similar to the predecessor, LV-20Z, it is a noncontact metrology system capable of measuring velocity and linear displacement of various moving material. Specification and features have been upgraded: velocity up to 10 m/s at 2.5-µm resolution. There are multiple ports that can interface with computers and factory automation systems.
