Verum AnalyticsLT Industries Inc. has designed a family of near-infrared analyzers for the pharmaceutical and functional food industries. The PhytoScan-B system can monitor solid samples of plants for the presence and concentration of active phytochemicals, and the PhytoScan-L model is used for fluid samples. Both devices are powered by the company's near-infrared scanners that capture more than 1000 wavelengths per scan, allowing the systems to measure moisture, fat and protein simultaneously.See full productRelated content from Photonics MediaARTICLESPhotonics.com 5/5/2022High-Precision Dual-Comb Sensing Method Keeps Compact FootprintDual-comb photothermal spectroscopy (DC-PTS), demonstrated for the first time by a joint team from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and...Photonics.com 6/13/2022SERS-Based Nanosensor Detects Pesticides on FruitResearchers at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden developed a nanosensor based on surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy or scattering (SERS).
