Three-CCD, prism-based color line-scan cameras for industrial web inspection applications are available from JAI. This line includes the CV-L103 and the CV-L105 models that have 2048-pixel resolution and identical pinouts. The optical mount for both models is a Nikon F-mount, and they share the same LVDS connection standards. The CV-L103 was designed for slow conveyer applications such as low-end wood inspection. It operates at 4-MHz pixel frequency with a scan rate just below 2000 lines per second. The CV-L105, designed for the print inspection market, has high-speed capability of 30-MHz pixel frequency and can reach scan rates of 14 kHz.
