TOOL SETTING
Renishaw Inc.Request Info
Renishaw Inc. has introduced its laser-based NC1 noncontact tool-setting system. The device uses a laser beam to measure tool diameter and length at normal spindle speeds, thus minimizing impact on cycle times. It also can detect broken tools at rapid traverse and can identify dynamic errors caused by clamping inconsistencies and radial run-out of the tool, the tool holder or the spindle.
