An automated IR inspection camera from Flir Systems Inc. incorporates thermal and visual imaging capabilities. The ThermaCam PM 695 records and stores temperature analysis data, voice and text comments with thermal and visual images. Maintenance reports can be created by dragging and dropping image files onto an icon. The system includes a solid-state detector that requires no cryogenic cooling and provides long-wave imaging, thermal sensitivity of 0.08 °C and temperature measurement capabilities from 240 °C to +2000 °C. Automated focus, range and span features create high-resolution images that help to identify problems and speed survey time.
