Euresys sa has developed a true-color modular PCI frame grabber for video surveillance applications that can connect to up to 16 unsynchronized cameras. The Picolo Pro 3 features switching times less than 33 ms in NTSC and less than 40 ms in PAL, enabling it to refresh a screen of 16 images every second. It supports the acquisition and real-time transfer of full-color images to a PC and captures full-resolution images up to 768 x 576 pixels. A hardware watchdog is available for fail-safe applications.
