Edmund Industrial Optics has added two control options to its laser diode modules for applications that require strobing of the illumination source. The syncro option can be used for single- and irregular-pulse operation and for duty cycles, and the modulation option can be used for high-frequency, continuous-pulse operation. Both modules have a wavelength of 635 nm and a maximum output of 1, 3 or 5 mW.
