The 2.5 x 1.7-in. device measures power vs. wavelength, supports 50-GHz channel spacing and covers the full C- or L-band. Other features include 25-pm wavelength accuracy, minimum 20-pm spectral resolution and a minimum 60-dB dynamic range. The channel monitor is central-office compatible, with an operating temperature range between 0 and 70 °C.
