The Fluoreslens system from Prior Scientific Instruments Ltd. was developed as an affordable means to add fluorescence microscopy techniques to almost any microscope. The system houses the entire filter set in a block that attaches directly to the microscope nosepiece. With filter sets for both blue and green light, the system allows fluorescence techniques that previously could be performed only on more expensive microscopes. A range of magnifications is available by changing the objective lenses that screw into the filter block.
