The model IK-M43A microminiature CCD camera from Toshiba Imaging Systems is compatible with 1/2- and 1/4-in. heads and standard C-mount lenses. The compact unit outputs S-video and composite signals, and is suitable for endoscopy, microscopy and machine vision. Included are 410,000-pixel CCD image sensor, a microlens for low-light sensitivity and 470-line resolution. Onboard RS-232 control allows the function param-eters to be set via remote PC or manually through the digital camera control unit. The camera head can capture video images up to 100 ft from the control unit.
