Hexagon of Stockholm, Sweden, has announced the launch of a new assembly and manufacturing facility in Noida, India. In the following weeks Hexagon, a global measurement technologies company, will start the delivery of locally assembled coordinate measuring machines to Indian customers. According to the company, the facility will gradually cover the full range of metrology products including articulated arms. Hexagon’s subsidiary, Hexagon Metrology India, supplies precision metrology products to customers throughout the Indian subcontinent. (8/7/2008)
