GPD Optoelectronics Corp. announces the availability of 1.5-mm-diameter InGaAs pin photodiodes. These detectors are available in bare die and packaged form with sensitivity up to 2.6 μm, in TO-46 or TO-5 cans with a flat or lensed cap, or on ceramic submounts. For many applications, this size represents an attractive price/performance point. Optical and electrical parameters can be optimized to suit the application.
