S-330 piezo tip/tilt platforms from Physik Instrumente (PI) are fast and compact units that provide precise angular motion of the top platform around a single fixed pivot point. These flexure-guided piezoelectric platforms can provide higher accelerations, enabling step response times in the submillisecond range while avoiding polarization rotation. Closed- and open-loop versions with up to 20-mrad optical deflection are available, along with a variety of controllers.
