The Imaging Source Europe GmbH has released a series of LED lighting modules that integrate seamlessly with the company’s USB CCD, FireWire and Gigabit Ethernet cameras. The modules can be directly connected to the cameras, and all parameters can be set via the shipped software, the integrated-circuit capture and imaging control, or the custom-built software. The capture capability is an end-user application and, with it, it is possible to set all camera parameters, to save singular images and sequences, and to display live video streams.
