Basler Vision Technologies has expanded its pilot GigE camera series to include two new models based on Sony’s ICX625 CCD sensor. The pilot piA2400-17 cameras capture images at a rate of up to 17 fps, have 2448 × 2050 pixels and deliver 5-megapixel resolution. They are suitable for applications including intelligent traffic systems; semiconductor, LCD and electronics inspection; and three-dimensional measurement. A 90° angled head option is available for easier integration into space-critical applications.
